Acceptance of Terms

By scheduling, purchasing, paying for, or allowing our staff to begin work, you agree to these Service Terms & Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree, please do not schedule or use our services. These Terms govern all onsite and remote work performed by Capital Tech Mount & Repair (“Capital Tech,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

Scope of Services

We provide installation, repair, configuration, and related technology services. Unless otherwise stated in writing, our responsibility is limited to the specific tasks listed on the work order or service estimate.

You are responsible for providing accurate access, permissions, and safe working conditions. Capital Tech is not responsible for hidden wiring, structural issues, or damage caused by pre-existing defects.

Scheduling, Deposits & Payments

  • Payment Timing: Full payment is due upon completion unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • On-Site Deposit: Once staff is on site, cancellations are subject to a charge equal to 25% of the total after taxes or $100, whichever is greater, to cover travel and scheduling costs.
  • Non-Refundable Deposits: All deposits are non-refundable unless expressly authorized by management.
  • Price Changes: Prices are subject to change without notice; accepted quotes remain valid for the stated period.
  • Processing Fees: Taxes and card processing fees apply to all transactions.

Rescheduling & Cancellations

Rescheduling must be requested at least 24 hours prior to the appointment unless otherwise approved. Same-day cancellations or no-shows will result in a 25% of total after taxes or $50 (whichever is greater) fee.

Customer Responsibilities

  • Ensure clear access to the work area.
  • Confirm wall, stud, or surface strength before installation.
  • Provide all necessary permissions and approvals.
  • Identify concealed utilities before drilling or mounting begins.
  • Provide accurate product or mount details when customer-supplied equipment is used.

Workmanship Warranty

We offer a 30-day workmanship warranty from the date of service covering only our labor and Company-provided materials. Customer-provided equipment, mounts, or cables are excluded from this warranty.

This warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, environmental conditions, or structural failure of walls, studs, or electrical components. Our sole obligation under this warranty is, at our option, to (a) re-perform the covered work or (b) refund the portion of the service price related to the issue.

Liability & Risk Allocation

Mounting and cabling may involve drilling or anchoring into surfaces. Capital Tech is not liable for cosmetic or structural damage to walls, studs, or concealed elements when performing the requested installation.

Customer assumes all responsibility for damage to televisions, customer-provided mounts, studs, and surfaces when using their own materials or equipment.

Capital Tech is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages. Our maximum liability for any service is limited to the amount paid for that specific service.

Subscriptions & Membership Plans

Our Tech Plan offers recurring membership options at $17.99/month or annually. Plans automatically renew each billing cycle unless canceled before the renewal date.

  • Annual Enrollment Fee: Each active subscription includes an annual enrollment fee billed on the anniversary of the plan’s start date. This fee renews automatically unless canceled at least one day before renewal.
  • Cancellation: Cancel anytime via your customer portal or by contacting Support. No refunds for partial billing periods.
  • Updates: Plan features or pricing may change at renewal with notice posted online.

Right to Refuse Service

Capital Tech reserves the right to decline or discontinue service for any reason, including unsafe conditions, harassment, noncompliance with building codes, or other legitimate business reasons.

Intellectual Property

The Capital Tech name, logo, and all related branding, visual design, and website content are protected by copyright and trademark law. Unauthorized use, reproduction, or alteration is prohibited.

Dispute Resolution & Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York. Any dispute will be resolved by binding arbitration in New York under the rules of a recognized arbitration provider. Class actions are waived. Either party may pursue small-claims court for eligible matters.

Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Updated versions will be posted on our website with the effective date. Your continued use of our services after the update constitutes acceptance.
